I got mine at a convention from the discount bin, so I’m not worried about it, I prefer reading rule books to novels anyways. Each book features 3 new clerics and a wealth of supplemental game info. There’s a learning curve, but in my opinion it’s a learning curve that’s well worth the end result.

Looking through the Hackmaster Basic rp that was posted, it doesn’t seem like it has cleaned itself up to not still be a giant pain in the ass to run.

The hackmasteg gen system looks very complex. I honestly loved the ruleset from what I’ve read. I’m trying to get past that, to understand what makes this game interestingly different! The problem arises with, as I keep saying, the conjunction between the cover art and the word “basic,” which naturally conjures up very different expectations in people not already plugged into the HM community and the development of the 5th edition of the game.

You will havkmaster have enough building points to buy everything you want or even need.
